Rosalyn G. Whitenack, 77, wife of J. H. Whitenack, Jr., died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born Jan. 23, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Crecia (Stratton) Gritton, and was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church, where she taught the Ladies Sunday School Class.
Survivors other than her husband include: 3 sons, John H. Whitenack III, Denver, CO, Alex Whitenack, Frankfort, and David Whitenack, Harrodsburg; 5 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Thurs. at the Hopewell Baptist Church by Brian Burkhead and John H. Whitenack IV with burial in the Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation 5-8 PM Wednesday at the church.
Pallbearers are David Stratton, Allen Whitenack, Dennis Mayes, Paul Wilson, Don Stiglich, and Connie Darland.
Arrangements by Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
