Viola Katherine Baugh, age 88, Harrodsburg, widow of Luther Roosevelt Baugh, died Sunday, October 7, 2007 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born July 2, 1919 in Liberty, KY, she was the daughter of the late Joel Samuel and Emily Alice (Gribbons) Taylor. She was a homemaker and a member of the Abundant Life Baptist Church.
Survivors include: three daughters: Ilene Jenkins of Harrodsburg, KY, Linda Jenkins of Junction City, KY and Charlotte Baker of Burgin, KY and three sons: Roy Melvin Baugh, Paul Baugh and Ronald Lynn Baugh all of Harrodsburg, KY, 24 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by a son: James S. Baugh and two daughters: Martha Adams & Carol Jenkins.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 9 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Danny Broce and burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
Visitation will be Monday, October 8 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be sent to Abundant Life Baptist Church
