Obituary of James D. Dean

James D. Dean, age 74, Mackville Road, Harrodsburg, husband of Jean Thompson Dean, died Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born May 10, 1933 in Mercer County, KY, he was the son of the late Rufus and Ella Mae (Carey) Dean. He served during Korean War in the Army. He was retired from Square D and a member of Ellers Memorial Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Mercer County Fish and Game Club.
Survivors include: his wife: Jean (Thompson) Dean, and two sons: James Allan Dean and Michael Wayne (Denise) Dean both of Harrodsburg, KY; Granddaughter, Haley Daneille Dean of Harrodsburg, KY.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 13 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Larry Camic and burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Sonny Driskell, Danny Bugg, Eddie Russell, Daryl Russell, Dee Wessley, Bobby Riley, Garry Riley, and Anthony Mobley.
Visitation will be Friday, October 12 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday prior to Service.
