BERNICE ANN CLARK Bernice Ann Clark, age 83, Harrodsburg Health Care, widow of Edward Clark, died Monday, October 29, 2007 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born April 8, 1924 in Henry County, she was the daughter of the late Carl F. and Lucy Harrell Simpson. She was a homemaker, member of the Mercer County Senior Citizens and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. Survivors include one son: Larry Clark, Harrodsburg, four daughters: Rita Ashton, Harrodsburg, Frankie (Jerry) Huffman, Harrodsburg, Sue (Butch) Steele, Harrodsburg, and Linda Clark, Lexington, one brother: David (Betty) Simpson, Elizabethtown, eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Curtis (C.J.) Simpson and a sister Erma C. Simpson. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at the Fellowship Baptist Church by Bro. James Harley. Burial will be in the Cornishville Christian Church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 30, 2007 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel and after 10:30 am Wednesday at the church. Pallbearers are John “Scooter” Huffman, Chris Clark, Eddie Burton, David Dunning, Tanner Powell, and Eric Clarkson. Honorary bearers are Christine Sanders, Ruby Dunn, Bob Baker, Curtis Simpson, Michael Butler, Shane Powell,Ronnie Simpson, Tommy Simpson, Mary Anna Simpson and Kevin Ray. Memorials are suggested to Mercer County Senior Citizens or the Gideon Bible Fund.
