Obituary of Orpha Pearl Hawkins

Orpha Pearl Hawkins, age 77, 108 East High St., Springfield, died Saturday, November 17, 2007 at the Baptist Hospital East, Louisville, KY.
She was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Jessie Darnell Yates.
Survivors include: two daughters: Linda Hawkins, and Jenny Peters of FL and two sons: Stanley Glenn Hawkins of Nicholasville, and James Anthony Hawkins of TX; and five sisters: Nettie Lanham, and Betty Royalty of Springfield, Mary Mattingly of Louisville, Margaret Mercer of Versailles, and Edna Wetherby of Ft. Gaines, FL; and one brother: Kenneth (Bud) Yates of Springfield. She was predeceased by three brothers: Thomas (Tim), Harvey & Joseph Yates, and a sister: Vena Stine.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 20 from 10 am - 2 pm.
