Obituary of Hugh Edward Black

Hugh Edward Black, age 90, Harrodsburg, husband of Mildred Hayes Black, died Monday, November 26, 2007 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born July 15, 1917 in Bohon, KY, he was the son of the late Shannon and Bessie Steele Black. He served during World War II in the Navy. He was a former employee of Bruce Hale Home Improvements, Colemans Lumber Yard and Royalty & Keightly and a member of the Bohon Church of Christ.
Survivors include: his wife: Mildred (Hayes) Black, and two sons: Kenneth R. Black and Ricky Wayne Black of Harrodsburg, KY; one sister: Nora Lee Perkins of Danville, KY; Five Grandchildren; Eight Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons: Freddie & Eddie Black.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 29 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bro. James Harley.
Pallbearers are: Sherman McMichael, Tim Kidd, Tim Horn, Buddy Isham, Jack Freeman.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 28 from 5-8 PM and Thursday prior to Service.
