Gaylon W. Claunch, age 59, Danville, died Thursday, November 29, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born February 20, 1948 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of Willie A. and Annelle Warner Claunch both of Harrodsburg. He was maintenance supervisor at Village Apartment Complex and a member of the Magnolia Street Christian Church.
Other survivors include: one daughter: Sherri Rene (Mike) Parker of Somerset, and one son: Gaylon Travis (Dana) Claunch of Shepherdsville, one sister: Brenda Prather and one brother: Darrell Claunch of Harrodsburg, five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 PM, Sunday, December 2 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bro. Matthew Atha with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Steve Gilvin, Bobby Catlett, Jimmy McGlone, Jeff Young, Cliff Buckingham. Honorary bearers: Michael, Shaina, and Jessi Parker, Christopher, Brittany, and Trenton Claunch, Jordan, and Brandon Young.,
Visitation will be Sunday, December 2 from 12 noon till hour of service at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
