Ronald T. Hurst, age 64, 232 Chiles St., Harrodsburg, died Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at the UK Medical Ctr., Lexington, KY.
Born June 2, 1943 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Charles "Coffee" and Lucille (Davenport) Hurst. He was real estate broker/auctioneer and owner of Ronald Hurst Company. Mr. Hurst was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, Mercer Masonic Ladge #777 F&AM, and the Oleika Shrine.
Survivors include: one daughter, Sara Elizabeth Hurst of Campton, KY; two sons, Mark Hurst of Louisville, KY, and Cory Hurst of Lancaster, KY; one sister, Sara Kay (Richard) Sutherland of Frankfort, KY; two brothers, Glenn K. (Marsha) Hurst of Harrodsburg, KY, and Perry G.
Hurst of Harrodsburg, KY; he was preceded in death by a daughter, Katherine C. Hurst.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 8 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John David Lane with burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: T. T. Lyons, Ronnie Long, Bill Bailey, Richard Sutherland, Jack Springate, and Chad Steele. Honorary bearers are Raymond Chilton, Steve Garland, and the Harrodsburg Class Of 1961.
Visitation will be Friday, December 7 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday prior to the service at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
