Ellen Faye Adkinson, age 95, Harrodsburg, died Sunday, December 9, 2007 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born July 27, 1912 in Springfield, KY, she was the daughter of the late William Booker and Nannie Lee (Burse) Royalty.
She was a housekeeper at Shakertown for many years and a member of the Bohon Road Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two daughters: Helen (Don) McRay of Lake City, FL, Diana (Jimmie) Norvell of Harrodsburg, KY and a son: Walden "Red" (Ina) Adkinson of Harrodsburg, KY; a brother: Arlie Roscoe Royalty of Harrodsburg, KY; Eighteen Grandchildren; Twenty Seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son: William Thomas Adkinson.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 11 at the Bohon Road Baptist Church by Ken Calia and burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Gary Adkinson, Tim Cobb, Joey Webb, Rex Kidd, Larry Inman and Bill Collins. The other Grand and Great Grand Children will serve as Honorary Bearers.
Visitation will be Monday, December 10, 5-8 pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
