Obituary of David Russell Poynter

David Russell Poynter, 45, of 1481 Bellows Mill Road, husband of Terri Yocum Poynter, died Monday, December 10, 2007 at his residence.
Born March 9, 1962 in Pulaski County, he was the son of Russell and Mazie Reynolds Poynter of Harrodsburg.
He was a construction worker for Caldwell Tanks.
Additional survivors include: one daughter, Iris Todd of Harrodsburg; one son, Kevin (Stephanie) Todd of Harrodsburg; three sisters, Carolyn (Randell) Fields of East Bernstadt, Barbara (David) Osborne of Mt. Vernon and Tammy (Jerry) Arnold of Harrodsburg; one brother, Jeff (Susan) Poynter of Harrodsburg; two grandchildren, Aaron & Jaicy Todd; father and mother-in-law, Morris and Mary Ann Yocum; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Cheryl Yocum; and sister-in-Law, Linda Alford.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 13, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Larry Holbrook and Jason Clark with burial in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dalton Hurst, Timmy Yeager, Travis Boswell, Dennis Fields, Richard Kirby and Garrett Payne.
Honorary bearers will be Aaron and Jaicy Todd, Logan Poynter, Jonathan McKinney, Heather Long Garrison and Gracie Arnold.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 12 ,from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
