Gwen Utterback, age 81, Harrodsburg, widow of Wilkes Bond Utterback, died Saturday, December 15, 2007 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born August 17, 1926 in Anderson County, KY, she was the daughter of the late James Arch and Pearl (Grubbs) Goodlett. She was a homemaker and a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church. Gwen was also very involved with the American Red Cross for many years.
Survivors include: a daughter: Glenna Cigallio of Douglasville, GA; Granddaughter, Sarah Cigellio of Douglasville, GA; Sister-in-Law, Evelyn Goodlett of Lawrenceburg, KY; One Niece and Nephew; Four Cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 19 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Dr. Robert DeFoor with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Skeeter Reed, Dick Koerner, Larry Camic, David Baker, Ron Leach, Dennis Ballard, Fred VanArsdall and Wayne Goodlett. Honorary Bearers are Mike Matherly,and the Faith, Hope and Love Sunday School Class Members.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 18 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday prior to Service.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Harrodsburg Baptist Church, American Cancer Society or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
