Myron Lance Lawson, age 91, Harrodsburg, widower Celestial Ruby Pankey Lawson, died Friday, January 4, 2008 at his home in Harrodsburg. Born March 18, 1916 in Washington County, he was the son of the late George Wesley and Lettie (Toms) Lawson. He was a farmer and a member of the Deep Creek Baptist Church where he was a Deacon for 60+ years and a Sunday School Teacher. Survivors include: two daughters: Peggy (Nelson) Reynolds of Washington County, KY, Betty (Randy) Sims of Harrodsburg, KY and three sons: Donnie (Pat) Lawson, Danny Lawson and Tony (Debbie) Lawson all of Harrodsburg, KY; three sisters: Lucille Skeans of Benton, KY, Jewell Strange-Doloway of Louisville, KY, Inelle Settles of Springfield, KY; and two brothers: McKinley Lawson of Mooresville, KY, Lonnie Lawson of Fern Creek, KY; Ten Grandchildren; Eleven Great Grandchildren; One Great Great Grandchild. Myron was predeceased by a son: David Lawson, three brothers Truman, Norman and Corbit Lawson and two sisters: Zelma Lay and Alma Reynolds. Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM, Monday, January 7 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Lewis Walters and Nelson Reynolds. Burial will be in the Deep Creek Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are: Marty, Adam, Jerry, Casey, Danny and Lance Lawson, Justin Reynold and Randy Sims. Visitation will be Sunday, January 6 after 5:00 PM and Monday prior to Service. Memorial contributions may be sent to Deep Creek Cemetery Fund, Relay for Life or Heritage Hospice. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.ransdellfuneralchapel.com
