Obituary of Anna Mae Carrier

Anna M. Carrier, age 86, Harrodsburg, died Friday, January 4, 2008 at the Charleston Health Care Center, Danville, KY.
Born July 2, 1921 in Stanford, KY, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Pearl (Eades) Vest. She retired as a housekeeping manager for the King's Island Inn.
Survivors include: four daughters: Ruth A. McKinney of Eubank, Peggy Taylor of Somerset, Vicki Carrier of Mackville and Bonnie Combs of Liberty; four sons: James S. Carrier of Sevierville, TN, Larry L Carrier of Lockland, OH, William Carrier of Burgin and Steven Carrier of Stanford, KY; one brother: Cicero Vest of Lexington, KY; 26 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. Predeceased by a son: Jackie Carrier; two brothers: Jr. and Roscoe Vest and a sister: Ella B. Carrier.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 8 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Ricky Shannon and burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Roger McKinney, James Marriott, Larry Carrier Jr., James Carrier Jr., Steve Carrier Jr., Clint Diskon, Shawn Broader and Eric Derringer.
Visitation will be Monday, January 7 from 5-8 pm and Tuesday prior to Service.
