Edith A. Bristo, age 64, 4162 Louisville Rd., Salvisa, wife of James "Jim" A. Bristo, died Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at her home.
Born February 28, 1943 in Frankfort, KY, she was the daughter of the late Elwood Darland and Omega Ruth West Pittman of Salvisa.
She was a former nursing aide at the Kentucky State Hospital and former mail clerk at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and was a member of the Burgin Church of God.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Sylvia Ruth (J.W.) Willis of Anderson Co., KY; one son, David (Melissa) Tharpe of Lexington, KY; 4 grandchildren, Phillip (Alesha) Pittman, Michael (Lea) Caudill, Rocky (Jessica) South, and Ashley (Drew) Hammond; five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Donnie Irvin with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.
Pallbearers are David Tharpe, J. W. Willis, Phillip Pittman, Michael Caudill, Rocky South, and Drew Hammond.
