Jimmy Leon Taylor, 65, S. College, Harrodsburg, widower of Nancy Sallee Taylor, died Monday, January 14, 2008 at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born October 10, 1942 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late William Irvin Taylor and Beatrice (Bottoms) Taylor, Harrodsburg. He was a retired mechanic.
Survivors other than his mother include: three daughters, Donna Brummett, Becky Taylor, and Shelia Turner all of Harrodsburg, KY; one sister, Elizabeth Ann Ryan, Harrodsburg; two grandchildren, Clayton Turner and Shelby Brummett . He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Wayne Taylor and Carl Dudley Taylor.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 17 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John David Lane with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are Tommy Brummett, Jeff Turner, Clayton Turner, Carl Dudley Taylor Jr., J. T. Logue, and Terry Taylor. Honorary bearers are Don Smith, Eddie Goodlett, Harold Goodlett, A. D. Peavler, James Hall, and Ann Hobbs.
Visitation will be after 5 pm Wednesday and prior to the service Thursday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
