Obituary of Sue Jackson

Sue A. Jackson, age 91, 570 Graham Avenue, Harrodsburg, widow of Lowell Jackson, died Thursday, January 17, 2008 at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center, Harrodsburg, KY. Born May 2, 1916 in Lebanon, KY, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Annie (Wright) Murphy. She was a homemaker and a member of the Eller’s Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include: one daughter, Betty (J.L.) Devine of Harrodsburg, KY; two sons, Donnie (Charlotte) Jackson and Tommy (Jane) Jackson both of Harrodsburg, KY; one sister, Pearl Meredith of Harrodsburg, KY; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandchild, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Monday, January 21st at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Kenneth Whitehouse with burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are Wayne Jackson, Todd Devine, Mike Voris, Mike Doyle, Austin Jackson, and Gerhardt Roos. Honorary bearers are Tony Pinkston, John Lee Meredith, Ron Bradford, Jim Hicks, Levi Jackson, Michael Jackson, Jeremy Jackson, Jonathan Taylor, and Seth Voris. Visitation will be Sunday, January 20th from 5-8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Memorial contributions may be sent to Ellers Memorial Baptist Church, 446 Cogar Ave., Harrodsburg, KY.
