Alvin D. Allen, age 64, 120 S. East Street, Harrodsburg, died Monday, January 21, 2008 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born June 11, 1943 in Lexington, KY, he was the son of the late Alvin D. and Thelma Mae (Johnson) Allen Sr.. He was a retired farmer and stone mason.
Survivors include: two daughters, Debra (Richard) Reed of Jacksonville , FL, and Belinda Allen of Florahome, FL; one son, Rex D. (Jo Ann) Allen II of Florahome, FL; two sisters, Joyce (Donald) Eldridge of Palm Beach, FL, and Grace Helton of Harrodsburg, KY; 5 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday at the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, January 24 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
