Guy Clinton Phillips, age 98, Harrodsburg, widower of Elettra Jean Sims Phillips, died Friday, February 1, 2008 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born October 22, 1909 in Anderson County, KY, he was the son of the late William H. and America Bell (Carter) Phillips. He served in the Army during World War II. He was an assistant maintenance engineer at Good Samaritan Hospital and a life member of the V.F.W Post 4075 in Frankfort.
Survivors include: three sons: Carl Clinton Phillips of Locust Grove, VA, Richard Guy Phillips of Frankfort, KY and Monty Buel Phillips of Harrodsburg, KY; Six Grandchildren; Four Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Monday, February 4 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Richard McKinley and burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Kevin Perkins, Rick Phillips, Kyle Phillips, Glenn Devine, Joseph Johnston and LeMayne Ellis.
Visitation will be Monday, February 4 from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Donations are directed to: The American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation of Kentucky.
