Minor Marvin Phillips, age 75, Harrodsburg, died Sunday, March 30, 2008 at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center., Harrodsburg, KY.
Born January 14, 1933 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Ruben Welby and Jewell Bottom Phillips. He was a former employee of the Harrod Theater, WHBN Radio Station and Ransdell Funeral Chapel where he was not only an employee but a member of the family. Minor loved music and collected both classic and poplar. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where he served as an usher.
Minor is survived by a number of cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 3 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Harold Best and John David Lane. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Perryville.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 2 from 5-8 pm and Thursday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
