Louise W. Bailey, age 89, Harrodsburg, widow of Stephen L. Bailey, died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY. Born May 28, 1918 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Brunell Bradshaw Worley. She was a former employee of Mercer County ASCS office and a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church. She was a volunteer for the Red Cross Bloodmobile and an avid UK Basketball fan. Survivors include: one son; Stephen (Georgetta) Bailey of Harrodsburg, Grandchildren: Aaron Bailey, Stephanie Bailey, Adina Bailey; Step grandchildren: Angie (Matt) Swabey, Bruce (Charisa) Wade; Step great grandchildren: Mia Wade, Bliss Swabey, and Caregiver, Michelle Griffin. She was predeceased by a sister: Martha McNees. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 5 at the Harrodsburg Christian Church by Phil Williams, Dr. John Chenault & Mark Thompson. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are: Jessie Spaulding, Aaron Bailey, Bruce Patterson, Bruce Wade, Tim Lewis, Charles Lewis, Sonny Thompson and Joe Stevens. Honorary bearers: Margot Perkins, Nancy Much, Michelle Griffin and members of the Goodwill Sunday School Class. Visitation will be Saturday, April 5 from 10:00 AM at the Church.
