Lora B. Bailey, age 91, 421 W. Office St., Harrodsburg, widow of Henry Bailey, died Saturday, May 16, 2008 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born April 19, 1917 in Mercer County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Eva Nora Stratton Beasley. She was a retired Cricketeer Manufactoring employee and a member of the Burgin Church of God and the Mercer County Senior Citizens.
Survivors include: one daughter: Beverly Lee of Maiden, NC; two sisters: Margie Holliday of Sycamore, IL, Vertie Lambert of Louisville, KY; 24 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by two daughters: Mable Jenkins, Wanda Sims, and 10 siblings and 4 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 PM, Tuesday, May 20 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Donnie Irvin with burial in the .
Pallbearers are: Rocky Stratton, Joey Brown, Jackie Maness, David Denny, Ralph Maness, and Daniel Brown. Honorary bearers: Monty Brown, Jesse Maness, Buford Brown, Terry and Larry Denny.
Visitation will be Monday, May 19 from 5-8 pm and Tuesday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
