Lois Camic, age 91, Bluegrass Pk., Danville, formerly of Mercer Co., widow of Marshall Camic, died Monday, May 26, 2008 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY. Born May 12, 1917 in Mercer Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late J. Edgar and Hallie Mae (Hendren) Yates. She was a retired seamstress having worked at Cricketeer in Harrodsburg & Palm Beach of Danville. She was a member of the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Doris Davis Circle. Mrs. Camic had also been a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader, and had been a band booster. Survivors include: one daughter, Marsha C. (John) Hughes of Danville, KY; one brother: James (Vivian) Yates of Louisville, KY; two grandchildren, Jarrod Morgan and John Marshall Hughes of Danville, KY; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, David Michael Camic. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 29 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Dale Denton with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are Mike Camic, David Camic, Larry D. Camic, Jarrod Morgan Hughes, John Marshall Hughes, Tyler Isaac, and Ken Nelson. Honorary bearers will be The Doris Davis Circle of the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Thursday, May 29 from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Memorial contributions may be sent to American Cancer Society, P.O.
