Obituary of George DeShazer

George DeShazer, age 60, Bardstown, died Thursday, June 5, 2008 at the Flaget Memorial Hospital, Bardstown, KY.
He was a native of Harrodsburg, KY, and a retired farrier.
Survivors include: one daughter: Rita D Carrico of Bardstown, and two sons: John DeShazer of Harrodsburg, and David DeShazer of Bardstown, three sisters: Eva Mae Baugh of Sumter, SC, Brenda Gabbard of Lancaster, KY, Myrgle Huffman of Harrodsburg, former wife & caregiver: Linda DeShazer of Bardstown, five grandchildren, one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Monday, June 9 at the Cox's Creek Baptist Church by Bro. Jim Bratcher. Burial 1:30 PM Monday in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Danny Huffman, Fred Huffman, Dan Huffman, Jason Watts, Dewayne Cissell, and David Campbell. Honorary bearers: Dale Gabbard, John DeShazer, David DeShazer, Phillip Lindsay, C. H. Kirkpatrick, and Cpt. Jerry Baugh.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 8 from 2:00 - 8:00 PM and Monday prior to Service at Church.
