Walter Daniel Danny Gibson, age 59, Harrodsburg, husband wife of Peggy Jane Thornton Gibson, died Saturday, June 14, 2008 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg. Born August 5, 1948 in Danville, he was the son of Mary Frances Phillips Gibson of Liberty and the late Earl Gibson. He had served in the U. S. Army, and was a member of the Benton Baptist Church. He was an employee of Mercer Construction & also a self employed carpenter.
Other survivors include; one daughter: Cynthia (Cindy) Lynn Hulbert of Harrodsburg, a sister: Judy Roy of Casey County, and a brother: Earl Kenneth Gibson of Cincinnati, OH, and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter: Teresa Carol Gibson.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 17 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Tim Gray and Bobby Slagle. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery with military rites.
Visitation will be Monday, June 16 from 5-8 pm and Tuesday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be sent to a Children's Charity or Relay for Life of Harrodsburg.
