Obituary of Joseph Curtis Howard

Joseph Curtis Howard, age 72, Salvisa, died Saturday, June 21, at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born September 22, 1933 in Woodford County, he was the son of the late John Wallace and Jimmie Lena Phillips Howard. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War, and a self employed farmer.
Survivors include: three daughters: Pamela (Will) Hisoire of Richmond, Lisa H Cloyd of Salvisa, Beverly Jo Howard of Lexington and two sons: James (Brigette) Howard of Salvisa, and John (Denise) Howard of Scott County, three brothers: John Allen Howard of Ohio, R. D. Howard of Georgetown, and Charles D. Howard of FL, and twelve grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Joseph Curtis Howard, Jr., and two brothers: James & Elmo Howard, and two sisters: Marion Gray Gilmore, and Mildred Mims.
Memorial service will be conducted 6:00 PM, Thursday, June 26 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by James Byrd and William Morgan.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren: Lea, Margaret & Diana Cloyd, Amanda Coffey, Sara & Joseph Levi Howard, Lena Jo Lang, Danielle, Catherine, Mattie & John Hisoire, and Chase Vinyard.
Family will receive friends after 5pm Thursday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
