John Edwin Graham Jack Woods, age 81, Harrodsburg, husband of Wanda Kaye Thurman Woods, died Friday, July 18, 2008 at the Saint Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY.
Born April 18, 1927 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Lewis C. and Minnie Alice Wilder Woods. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Carpenters Christian Church.
Other survivors include: two daughters: Roberta Graham Woods of Lawrence, KA, Sarah Hill Schooler of Midway, KY; two sisters: Sarah Frances Bottom of Harrodsburg, Step son: Kevin S. Kirkland of Maryville, TN; and a step daughter: Michele K. Bugg of Harrodsburg, five step grandchildren.
Graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday at the Spring Hill Cemetery by Bro. Greg Warren.
No visitation Ransdell Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
