Obituary of Ferrell Gee Settles

Ferrell Gee Settles, age 65, of Burgin, departed this world Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, to enter his Heavenly home. He died at his home where he was cared for by his wife Pat Warner Settles and his friend and caregiver Michael David Garrett. Born May 25, 1943 in Mackville, KY, he was the son of Martha Price Settles and the late Calbert Ted Settles. He owned and operated Pat's Janitorial Service for a number of years after working for Jane and Linda Sport Wear for 32 yrs. He enjoyed vacationing with friends: Bill and Patsy Harrison, bowling, wood crafting and spending time with his grandchildren. Other survivors include: one daughter: Gloria (Wendall) Denise Nall of Burgin, Grandchildren: Savanna Lynn Bartley of Campbellsville and Zachary Kyle Bartley of Burgin; Brothers-In-Law and their wives: Tony (Marlene) Warner and Ronnie (Deborah) Cooley; Mother-In-Law, Violet Warner; Cousin: David (Dorothy) Price of Lebanon, KY. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 6 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Paul Powell and Kenneth Whitehouse with burial in the Peter's Cemetery, Mackville. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 6 after 10:00 AM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
