Mary Frances Gibson, age 90,of Liberty, formerly of Harrodsburg, widow of Earl Gibson, died Friday, August 29, 2008 at the Liberty Care Center, Liberty, KY.
Born June 20, 1918 in Mercer County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Butler Daniel and Viola Frances (Hedges) Phillips. She was a seamstress and former employee of Cricketeer Mfg. Co. and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include: a daughter: Judy (Kenneth) Roy of Liberty, KY and a son: Earl Kenneth (Patti) Gibson of Hamilton, OH; brother: Wesley Phillips of Harrodsburg, KY; Daughter-in-law, Peggy Gibson of Harrodsburg, KY; Nine Grandchildren; Fourteen Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son: Danny Gibson and three sisters: Rose Lee Phillips, Ina Bea Watkins and Katherine Samples.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 PM, Sunday, August 31 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by James Harley. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 30 from 5-8 pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
