Elsa H. Gash, age 66, Harrodsburg, wife of Jerry D. Gash, died Saturday, October 11, 2008 at her home on Herrington Lake.
Born March 3, 1942 in Ettlingen, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Walburga Schliffer Hantschk. She was an active member of the Herrington Lake Conservation League and the Yacht Club.
Survivors include: her husband: Jerry D. Gash, one daughter: Tina (Bill) Broyles of Lawrenceburg and one son: Tom (Stephanie) Gash of Louisville and a brother: Joseph Hantschk of Germany; a sister: Theresia Sanches of Germany and a granddaughter: Emily. Visitation 1 3 PM Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with graveside service to follow at 3:30 PM at the Burgin Memorial Garden.
