Janet Powell Coleman, age 85, Burgin, widow of Jack L. Coleman Sr., died Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at her home
Born March 24, 1923 in Mackville, KY, she was the daughter of the late James K. and Katie Lee (Arnold) Powell. She was a retired teacher and a member of the Burgin Christian Church.
Survivors include: a son: Jack (Cala) Coleman of Harrodsburg and a brother: Jim Powell, of Mackville; Three Grandchildren; Four Step Grandchildren; Two great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters: Jan Gross and Christy Coleman; a brother: William Wyatt Powell.
Graveside services will be conducted 4 PM, Thursday, October 16 at the Spring Hill Cemetery by Jack Coleman.
Pallbearers are: Jack Coleman, Zac Gross, Jack Gross, Brandt Miller, Brehnan Miller and Jim Powell.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Heritage Hospice.
