Obituary of Alma Frances Godbey

Alma Frances Godbey, age 77, Harrodsburg, widow of Floyd W. Godbey, died Saturday. Born December 26, 1930 in Boyle County, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Blanche Worthington Tate. She was a retired Corning Glass employee. Survivors include: two daughters, Janet (Virgil) Milton of Harrodsburg, and Evelyn (David) White of Lancaster; one brother, Jimmy Reynolds of Knoxville, TN; 3 grandchildren, Mark White, Bonnie Milton, and Cathy White; four great grandchidren. Graveside service 11 am Tuesday, Oct. 28, at the Danville Memorial Gardens by Gary Durham. Honorary pallbearers are: Terry Godbey, Paul Ellis, John Curtsinger, Mark White, Donald Lee Devine, Sam Bottom, Ruth Coontz. Visitation will be Monday, October 27 after 4:30 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg. Memorial contributions may be sent to Cancer Fund of America @ 2901 Breezeway Ln., Knoxville, TN 37921 or One's Favorite Charity.
