Bonnie A. Poulter, 76, 128 McCouns Ferry Rd., Salvisa, wife of W. A. (Sonny) Poulter, died Sunday, October 26, 2008 at her home. Born October 23, 1932 in Lexington, KY, she was the daughter of the late W. R. and Minnie B. (Thompson) Anderson. She was a retired Cricketeer and Mercer Dress seamstress and a member of the Ebenezer Church of Christ. She had also served as a leader for the Brownies, Girl Scouts, and Boy Scouts. Other survivors include: two daughters; Karen Sue (Jay) Hackett, Salvisa, KY, Rhonda Gayle Goff, Frankfort, KY, and one son, William Alex (Deborah) Poulter, Lexington, KY; one sister, Dorothy A. Nichols, Lawrenceburg, KY; four brothers, William Garnett (Naomi) Anderson, Columbus, IN, Marion J. (Mary) Anderson, Hope, IN, Eugene (Jane) Anderson, Logansport, IN, B. C. "Cape" (Louise) Anderson, Lexington, KY; 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Irene, Roy & Carl Anderson. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 29 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John Kesel with burial in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa. Pallbearers are Timothy Micah Goff, Richard Alex Poulter, Spencer Preston Poulter, Taylor Hackett, Jessica Nichole Poulter, Bethany Anne Poulter, Eddie Nichols, and Virgil "Bud" Edwards. Honorary bearers will be members of the McAfee Class of 1950. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 28 from after 5:00 PM and Wednesday prior to service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be sent to Heritage Hospice or Gideon Memorial Bible Fund.
