Obituary of Shelbie Jean Lanham

Shelbie Jean Lanham, age 70, Burgin, wife of Billy Gene Lanham, died Thursday, October 30, 2008 at her home.
Born September 25, 1938 in Madison County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Margaret Johnson. She was a retired Medical Records program coordinator for the State.
Other survivors include: one daughter: Carla (Jimmy) Gray and one son: Kevin Lanham both of Harrodsburg; four sisters: Elsie King of Berea, Lucille Dyehouse of Richmond, Katherine Truett of SC, Mildred Curtsinger of TX; granddaughters, Maggie & Mackenzie Gray; great granddaughter, Emma Claunch. Predeceased by siblings: Leroy & Thomas Johnson, and Alene Royalty.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 2 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Kenneth Whitehouse with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Eddie Long, Curtis Sherrow, Dennis Ballard, Tony Pinkston, Daryl Johnson and James Milburn.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 1 from 5-8 pm and Sunday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
