Thomas C. Sallee, age 83, Harrodsburg, died Monday, November 10, 2008 at the Thomson Hood V.A. Center, Wilmore, KY.
Born June 21, 1925 in McAfee, KY, he was the son of the late Eugene and Bessie Mae (Watts) Sallee. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a truck driver and a member of the Southside Christian Church.
Survivors include: a daughter: Sheila (Max) Clark of Harrodsburg, KY and three sons: Tommy (Cindy) Sallee Jr. of Harrodsburg, KY, Ralph (Alesia) Sallee of Lancaster, KY, Rodney W. (Cathy) Sallee of Nicholasville, KY; a sister: Eugenia Warner of MI; and two brothers: Billy Sallee of Lexington, KY, Ansel "Buck" Sallee of MI; Eleven Grandchildren; Four Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother: Donald Sallee and a Grandson: Matthew Clark.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Thursday, November 13 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by David Collier with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Aaron Sallee, Adam Sallee, Andrew Sallee, Nathaniel Sallee, Brad Young, Chad Young, Chris Young and Andrew Pulliam.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 12 after 5 PM and Thursday prior to service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Thompson Hood VA Medical Center in Wilmore, KY.
