ALPHA MAE WARNER DEAN
Alpha Mae Warner Dean, age 84, 2567 Oregon Road, Salvisa, widow of R.T. Tee Dean, died Monday, October 20, 2003 at the Hospice Care Center St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born October 7, 1919 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Ada Sims Warner, a homemaker and a member of the Ebenezer Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Jimmy and his wife Susie Dean, Mercer County, a daughter-in-law, Ann Y. Dean, Harrodsburg, one grandchild, R.T. Dean, III, Harrodsburg, and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, R.T. Dean, Jr., and a brother, Russell Warner.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at the Ebenezer Church of Christ by John Kesel and Dallas Daniels. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00 pm Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel and Wednesday after 12:00 noon until the hour of service at the Church. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass or the Ebenezer Church of Christ Cemetery Fund.
Pallbearers will be Ron Ashford, Lois Dean, Dalton Hendren, Hughes Jones, Terry Sutherland, Winston Preston and Mike Woods.Honorary bearers will be Nell Ashford, Lou Keta Woods, June Miller, Reid Hendren, Doris Reese, Mike fisher, Don fisher, Eunice Peyton, Don Fisher.
