Obituary of Robert Wise

Robert Wise, age 88, Harrodsburg, husband of Margaret Quire Wise for more than sixty-five years, died Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the Ephriam McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY. Born January 5, 1920 in Owenton, KY, he was the son of the late Oscar Lee and Ella D. Hiles Wise. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Harrodsburg Church of Christ. Other survivors include: two daughters, Rita (Ronnie) Clark of Frankfort, and Carolyn (Larry) Reed of Lawrenceburg; one son, Duard Wise of Covington, KY; one sister, Alma W. Dean of Frankfort; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Blanche Campbell, and one grandson. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Monday, December 8 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Mike Estes with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be Sunday, December 7 from 5-8pm and Monday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Casketbearers are Ricky & Todd Clark, Bobby Cotton, Jackie Freeman, Gary Dean, and Bruce Parrott.
