Obituary of William Chester Elliott

William Chester "Bill" Elliott, age 70, Harrodsburg, husband of Mary Lee Woods Elliott, died Saturday, December 13, 2008 at the his home.
Born June 15, 1938 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late William Morris and Ovie Ester Pankey Elliott. He was actively involved in Mercer County Little League baseball and basketball for many years. Bill was a member of the Mercer Church of Christ and was a retired IBM employee.
Other survivors include: one daughter: Lisa Elliott Owens, and two sons: Bill Elliott, Jr., Stephen "Pete" (Debbie) El6liott all of Harrodsburg; two sisters: Wilma Joyce Turner of Mackville, and Glenda Terhune of Harrodsburg; six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 16 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Jason Pierce with burial in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa.
Pallbearers are: Lelland Turner, Lynden Turner, Stevie Elliott, Hunter Elliott, Michael Preston, Marty Abrams, Mike Baker. Honorary Bearers: Robert Warren, Leonard Chumbley, Carl Morphew, Toby Chumbley, Eldoris Currens, Kyle Pankey, Carroll Gritton, Bill Cox, Albert Elliott and Mason Cocanougher.
Visitation will be Monday, December 15 after 5 PM and Tuesday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
