Obituary of Modena Horn

Modena Horn, age 98, of Harrodsburg, widow of Frank Horn, died Friday, December 19, 2008 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY. Born November 21, 1910 in Mercer County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Floyd C. and Nona Moore Sims. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church and the Live Wires. Survivors include: two sisters: Edna McGee, Mary Elizabeth Hopewell both of Cincinnati, OH; Predeceased by three infant daughters: Lyda Belle, Beulah and Eulah Horn, one sister: Juanita Sims Huffman, a brother: J. C. Sims and two nieces: Helen Huffman Robinson and Charlotte Moore Driskell. Funeral services will be conducted 02:30 PM, Monday, December 22 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Don Reed, Arnold Moon & David Crow, with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Bearers: Brian Driskell, Scott Phillips, Wesley Huffman, Mark McGee, Kirk Wayne Robinson and Chad Horn.
