Forrest Ernest Cannon, age 92, Harrodsburg, widower of Ethel Carpenter Cannon, died Monday, December 29, 2008 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born July 24, 1916 in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Ernest and Bertie Leonard Cannon. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include: a sister: Lorraine C. Kurtz of Lexington: two Step grandchildren: Gary Devine of Danville and Patti Bryant of Harrodsburg; several Nieces and Nephews. He is predeceased by a step son: Garfield Devine, three brothers: Charles, Andrew & Leo Cannon, four sisters: Martina Nooe, Violet Meredith, Hazel Arnold, and Geneva Stakelin.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM, Wednesday, December 31 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Dr. Robert DeFoor and Kenny Queener with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 30 from 6-8 PM and Wednesday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
