Ronnie D. Young, age 68, Harrodsburg, husband of Jana Grayson, died Sunday, February 1, 2009 in Harrodsburg,, KY.
Born April 15, 1940 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Carl W. and Virginia Bottoms Young. Ronnie was in the banking industry for 35 years Heritage, PNC & Lawrenceburg National Banks and was a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Jana Grayson, Harrodsburg; and two sons, Chris (Gina) Young of Lexington, KY and Patrick Young of Columbus, OH; three Grandchildren, Collier Young, Mason Young and Tricia Young; two Step Grandchildren, Lauren & Miranda; Step Mother, Brunell Sanders Young of Harrodsburg, KY. Ronnie was preceded in death by a wife, Patricia Wynn Young; an infant daughter, Virginia Rae Young and his father, Carl W. Young.
Graveside services will be 11 AM, Thursday, February 5 at the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg by Phil Williams.
Honorary bearers are: Roger Nooe, Gary Houchins, Joe Stevens, Alvis Johnson, Don Notter, Don Billy Yates, Tebbs Moore, Tony Robinson, and Gene Yates.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 4 from 5-8 pm and Thursday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
