John H. Carter, age 46, 3400 Talmage-Mayo Rd., Salvisa, died Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at the Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington, KY.
Born April 13, 1962 in Lexington, KY, he was the son of John Carter, Lexington, and the late Ida (McIntosh) Carter.
He was a Mid-State Steel Products fabricator.
Survivors other than father include: his wife and soul mate of 20 years, Janna Farney Carter of Salvisa, KY; one daughter, Michaela Rose Carter of Salvisa, KY; one son, Johnathon Gordon Carter of Salvisa, KY; three sisters, Shirley Caudill of Winchester, KY, Babette Noe of Nicholasville, KY, and Vicky Carter of Lexington, KY; one brother, Michael Carter of Richmond, KY.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Monday, February 16 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are Marty Gibson, Keith Helton, John Powell, Ronnie Compton, Adam Noe, and Anthony Hazelwood.
Visitation is after 5 pm Sunday, February 15th, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
