LYNN EDWARD SKELTON
Lynn Edward Skelton, age 60, of 675 Herrington Woods, Burgin, husband of Patricia Verlander Skelton, died Friday, October 24, 2003 at his residence. Born February 24, 1943 in McKeesport, PA, he was the son of the late John and Marie Illman Skelton, was a retired Project Engineer for VA Hospital in Oakland, PA., currently employed by Pulumbo Lumber Company, Lexington, a member of Bryn Mawr Church of Christ, in White Oak, PA, member of the Masonic Lodge and the Caravan Shrine Temple, member of the National Yacht Club, was Rear Commodore with the Herrington Lake Coast Guard Auxiliary, a member of the Wet Bottom Boys Motorcycle Club and an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Heather Lynn Kersting, North Huntingdon, PA and three grandchildren. Also he was the nephew of Mrs. Carroll Cole, Harrodsburg and cousin of Carolyn Cole, Harrodsburg and John William Cole, Lexington. He was preceded in death by a brother Ronnie Skelton.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, October 29 at the Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home in McKeesport, Pa. Burial will be at the Jefferson Memorial Parks in Pittsburg, PA.
Local visitation will be held from 4 until 6 pm Sunday, October 26 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
