Obituary of David S. Miller

David S. Miller, 66, widower of Patricia Wilham Miller, died Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington. Born January 6, 1943 in Boyle County, he was the son of the late Wayne Hugh and Mary Hayes Baker Miller. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for the U.S. Mail. Survivors include: two daughters, Tammy Miller Mulberry and Heather Miller (Ross) Hendrick, both of Geor-getown; and one son, Stewart (Zandra) Miller of Washington, DC; one sister, Debbie (Charles) Roach; one brother, James H. "Jim" Miller, both of Harrodsburg; step children, Terry (Donna) Chester of Junction City, Lesha Curtsin-ger of Harrodsburg; five grandchildren, Javier and Jazlyn Miller, Shelby Mulberry, Max and Zak Hendrick; two great grandchildren and five step grandchildren. He was predeceased by Jazmin Miller and Chris Tewmey. Funeral services for David and his wife Pat Miller will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 1, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Brad King and Ricky Mobley. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers for David will be Stewart Miller, David Issacs, Tammy Mulberry, Heather Hendrick, Michael Tew-mey and Charles Roach. Pat’s Pallbearers will be Justin Chester, Kyle Chester, Harry Gilmore, Chad Votaw, Mike Savage and Lil Larry Wilham. Honorary Bearers will be Josh Savage, Rhonda Mobley, Brad Mobley and Mike Tewmey. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.ransdellfuneralchapel.com
