Obituary of William Henry Robinson

William Henry Robinson, age 84, 928 Mackville Rd., Harrodsburg, husband of Loraine Wilham Robinson, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at the V.A Medical Care, Lexington, KY. Born June 18, 1924 in Mercer Co., KY, he was the son of the late Rome and Della L. (Drury) Robinson. He was an Army Veteran of WWII, a retired farmer, and a member of the Magnolia Street Christian Church. Survivors other than his wife include: one sister, Gertrude (Linwood) Chilton of Harrodsburg, KY; three nieces, Janice Burns, Joyce Riley, and Sue Pugh; two nephews, Darrell and Dallas Waterfill; a number of great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 12 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Claude Waldridge and Caleb Penwell with burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Wed. at Ransdell’s Pallbearers are Nick Goodlett, Dustin Mosko, David Waterfill, Todd Burns, Todd Davis, Kevin Waterfill, Mike Henson, and Steven Waterfill. Honorary bearers are Wendell Johnson, Steve Baxter, Charles McCrystal, Bob Gray, Jimmy Keller, Billy Sanford, and Dan Atha. Memorials are suggested to the Gideon Bible Fund or to Heritage Hospice.
