Leslie Rue
Leslie Les Rue, age 85, Harrodsburg, widower of Letitia Mitchell Rue, died Friday, March 20, 2009 at the Osceola Regional Hospital, Kissimmee, FL.
Born September 8, 1923 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Insco Williams and Lottie (Forbes) Rue. He was the owner/agent for Rue Insurance Agency and a member of Harrodsburg Christian Church.
Survivors include: two daughters: Jane (Andy) Rice of Danville, Tish (Bruce) Rudd of Cadiz, KY; a sister: Aileen Dohler of CO; and a brother: Rev. Clarence Rue of TX;three Grandsons: Bruce Rudd, Jr., Billy Hargis, Jr. and Todd Hargis; three Great Grandchildren: Jacob Rudd, Jackson Hargis and Ella Rue Hargis. Les was predeceased by his wife of 59 years and ten siblings.
Funeral services will be conducted by Tish Rudd, 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 25 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Bruce Rudd Jr., Billy Hargis Jr., Todd Hargis, Ronnie Reed, Art Baker and Charles Lewis.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 24 from 5-8 pm and Wednesday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
