Obituary of Lowell Thomas "Tommy" Jackson

Lowell Thomas Jackson, age 69, 618 Lexington St., Harrodsburg, husband of Jane Gayle Bugg Jackson, died Monday, April 6, 2009 at the V.A Medical Care, Lexington, KY.
Born May 22, 1939 in Mercer Co., KY, he was the son of the late Lowell Hobert and Sue Ann (Murphy) Jackson. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Shakertown Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Sherry Ann Doyle of Lexington, KY; and one son, Wayne Jackson of Harrodsburg, KY; one sister, Betty Devine of Harrodsburg, KY; one brother, Donnie Jackson of Harrodsburg, KY; five grandchildren, Kasey Montgomery, Michael, Jeremy, & Levi Jackson and Amanda Doyle; two great grandchildren, Mason & Aden; best friend, Hooch "Dog" Hollingsworth. He was preceded in death by a son, Lowell Thomas "Tommy II" Jackson Jr. and a daughter, Anna Marie Jackson.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Friday, April 10 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Brian Burkhead with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 9 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and prior to the service Friday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
