Martin E. Buddy Walker III, age 72, Harrodsburg, husband of Barbara Hardin Walker, died Saturday, April 25, 2009 at the University of Louisville Hospital, Louisville, after a motor vehicle accident in Springfield.
Born February 7, 1937 in Mercer County, KY, he was the son of the late Martin E. and Hazel (Edwards) Walker II. He was a retired E.W. Brown Power Plant employee and a member of the Harrodsburg Community Church.
Survivors include: a daughter: Cindy Walker, two sons: Marty Walker and Ron Walker; a sister: Shirley Walker; five Grandchildren: Wesley Brummett, Leigh Ann (Josh) Cromer, Amy Brummett, Jordan Walker and Lakyn Alexandria Walker; Four Great Grandchildren, all of Harrodsburg. Predeceased daughter; Kathy Walker.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM, Wednesday, April 29 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Terry Morrison. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 28 after 5 PM and Wednesday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
