Obituary of Marti Willliamson

Martine Gaynor “Marti” Williamson, 81, Harrodsburg, widow of Forrest Williamson, died Thursday. Born in Tell City, IN, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Esther Aldridge Gaynor. She was an accomplished musician, singer and song writer, retired owner of “The Gathering Place, and was a member of the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church. Survivors include: two sons, Gary Neil (Ella Jean) and Charles Wesley Williamson; two grandchildren, Ann Thomas Clark and Kathryn Wallace Butler; and five great grandchildren. Services 2 PM Sunday, Harrodsburg United Methodist Church by Ken Klemme. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation 4-7 PM Sat., Ransdell Funeral Chapel, & 1 PM Sun. at the church. Marti requested that memorials be made to the Harrodsburg United Church Building Fund.
