Joel Edward JOE Huffman, age 66, Harrodsburg, died Friday, May 8, 2009 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
Born January 29, 1943 in Fort Smith, AR, he was the son of the late Jody E. and Juanita Mae (Williams) Huffman. He was a former employee of Corning, KY State Maintenance Department and was a Barber, Joe was a member of the Magnolia Street Christian Church.
Joe was survived by a sister: Florence Sue Huffman of Lexington, KY. He was predeceased by a brother: Thomas Danny Huffman, Sr..
Funeral services will be at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bro. James Harley and Private burial will be in the Cornishville Christian Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers are: James Lazwell, Tim Shannon, Sonny Ransdell, Don Billy Yates, Glenn Devine, Horace Huffman, Lowell Clark, Greg "Chubby" Anderson, Jim Fitzgerald and Ronnie Claunch, ,
Visitation will be Monday, May 11 from 11 AM until the hour of service at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Mercer County Humane Society.
