Obituary of Margaret Jenkins Lester

Margaret J. Lester, age 79, Danville wife of Russell C. Lester, died Thursday, May 14, 2009 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born May 13, 1930 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Parker and Dovie Mae (Harden) Jenkins. She was a Corning Glass employee and a member of Ellers Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her husband: Russell Clifford Lester, a daughter: Gloria Jean Browning of Lexington and a son: Russell Dale Lester of Harrodsburg; sister: Edith Nowlin of Harrodsburg; and brother: Earl Jenkins of Versailles and Four Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted, 12:00 Noon, Monday, May 18 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Kenneth Whitehouse and Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Henry Peavler, Tony Pinkston, Eddie Long, Jesse Thomas, Dallas Estes, Danny White and Ray Latham.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 17 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and Monday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Ragged Edge Community Theater.
